All the adversities in our life, all our troubles and obstacles, strengthen us… We may not realize it when it happens, but a push from behind increases our confidence and self worth.
Keeping alive the spirit of motivation and hardwork, ADLS Sunshine School held its first Subjective Well-Being Progress Report Prize Nite named “MOHARIK” on 5th May, 2017 in the aesthetically decorated Michael John Auditorium, Bistupur. It was an endeavour to acknowledge the saga of breakthrough improvement in behaviour and attentiveness of its students identified through the counselling assessments conducted in the last academic session.
The function commenced with the “Smile Procession” of 76 Prize winners led by their class teachers. The grand spectacle was followed by the National Anthem and the auspicious lighting of the lamp of hope by the Chief Guest Dr. Rajan Chaudhry (GM,TMH), Guest of Honour- Dr. D.P. Samaddar (Chief of Indoor Medical Services, TMH) and Dr. Farhad Balsara (Neuropsychiatrist), management members and Principal Mrs. Indrani Singh and Stress Prayer.
The chief guest along with the other members of the Managing Committee and distinguished guests gave away medals and certificates to the students for their par excellence performance and improvement. Amidst heavy applause, the most prestigious award named as the “SMILE- Student of the Year” award was given to Harsh Kumar of Standard 8.
The Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Management Committee applauded the efforts of the prize winners and encouraged them to do better.
Principal Mrs. Indrani Singh presented an Annual Report of the various counselling activities taking place and she also congratulated the efforts of the prize winners and their proud parents. She also motivated the students to continue their toil and attain greater heights in life.
Brief interludes in the form of Mime, Yoga and PowerPoint presentation added to the grandeur of the show. The sublime energy of rhythm and melody enthralled the audience. The show came to a close with the Stress Anthem sung by one student each from Nursery to Std 12.
An institution having a strong desire to serve the community. ADLS Sunshine School is run by Andhra Dramatic and Literary Society. We are affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. We also run a Hindi Medium school affiliated to Jharkhand Board.
